The construction of our new service center and site are nearing completion. The contractor has substantially completed the interior and is working through a punch list of minor corrections. The AV/IT/Security vendor is finalizing infrastructure and devices as they move to test and complete their work. We have been allowed to store furniture, generously donated by a local company, on the 1st floor in advance of a certificate of complete occupancy.
Work on the outside of the building continues as the weather has gotten warmer. The 2nd floor deck, concrete pad and lighting under the deck are in progress and should be done soon. The site contractor returned on 3/29 and is working to complete their portion, to include curbs, sidewalks, final paving and striping and moving topsoil to prepare for landscaping. In the next week or so, the landscape company will begin installing trees and shrubs and the entrance sign and flag poles will be installed in the coming weeks as well. Finally, the paving stones for the main building entrance have been delivered and the vendor is currently engraving the ones that have already been purchased. Engraved pavers will be installed soon starting closest to the entrance walkway. Order your paver now if you haven’t already!
Upon completion and satisfaction of all of the interior and exterior requirements of the site development plan issued by the township, we will receive a certificate of complete occupancy which will enable us to place furniture throughout the building. This will include setting up and stocking the trading post to get ready to conduct normal operations.
The PARC committee is currently working on plans for several events to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 including a ceremonial ribbon cutting and open house. Stay tuned for more information.
This journey to PARC has been a long time coming and the end is in sight.
Stay safe. Keep the faith.
