To obtain the Level 1 Sawyer Certificate, you will receive 8 hours of classroom and 4 hours of practical training on chain saw maintenance, operation and safety through Part 1 and Part 2. You must attend both sessions to become certified, and must be 21+ to attend.

Part 1 (online):

• Online Zoom meeting March 3rd, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
• Zoom meeting info will be sent out closer to the training date.

Part 2 (in-person):

• Saturday 3/6, 9:00am-6:00pm, This is the in-person session at Camp Ware Dining Hall. This will be a full day of hands-on cutting and demonstration of use and care of a saw. Please bring your own lunch. Questions please email: [email protected]

*Each individual must have all their own equipment: PPE: (hard hat, chaps, gloves, safety glasses/face shield, hearing protection, leather boots.) Also all participants must bring their own Chain saw with tool kit. We will not be loaning out PPE or saws.
