BSA Report to the Commonwealth at the Capitol in Harrisburg

On Tuesday, June 6th, over 100 Scouts were in attendance from across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with 6 Scouts representing Chester County Council – Jimmy Faust & Nate Faust of Troop 127, Gavin Young, Tucker Young, Audrey Harvey, and Alaina Faust of Pack 95.  Scouters in attendance were Dustin Harvey, Bill & Lara Faust, Jake Segal, and Jeff Spencer.  The Scouts were the special guests of Senator Culver and participated in a meet & greet with State Treasurer Stacy Garrity. The Scouts also enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the capitol, gathered history facts, and met with a few more of their elected representatives. Scouting is vibrant in PA and we were happy to showcase all the exciting experiences Scouts have. A special Thank You to Senator Carolyn Comitta for visiting with the Scouts. The day then culminated with the BSA report to the Commonwealth during the Senate session.

The Scout Store and PARC building will be closed on Wednesday, June 19 for Juneteenth.
