Sloan Lodge

Sloan lodge has 3 separate rooms on one floor – full kitchen with residential style gas stove, refrigerator with freezer – cabinets – two full bathrooms with showers – fireplace – bunks with springs. This lodge is located to the left as you come down the hill into camp and has a large gravel, parking area adjacent to it. Sloan Lodge is an excellent cabin to use for co-ed camping and can be used in conjunction with the staff city cabins for large groups (Capacity 40).

Macaleer Lodge

Macaleer Lodge is a large two story building with top of the line accommodations. Groups can reserve one or both floors. It is centrally heated and each floor has a full  kitchen, residential style stove, hot water, indoor bathroom facilities and shower. Spacious bunkroom with two separate rooms for adults and a generous dining/program area. No fireplace or wood stove, but a campfire area is available (Capacity 30 per floor).

Lawrence Lodge

Lawrence LodgeOne of the original Camp John H. Ware, 3rd structures. it has a wood stove, hot water, indoor bathroom and shower.Separate kitchen has a four burner stove, griddle, sink, and refrigerator  Large bunkroom with four additional rooms. This cabin is the closest to the parking lot and headquarters building (capacity 25).

Staff City Cabins

Used during summer camp for staff housing, these cabins are available for winter camp. Because there are no bathroom or latrine facilities available during the winter months, these rustic structures may be better utilized for large groups reserving Sloan Lodge.

Jubilee Adirondacks

These are large, three sided wooden shelters with 4 wooden bunks. Campsites have a flagpole, fire ring and latrine. This site also has a large open air shelter.

Deerslayer

Closest to the Parade Field and the Handicraft Pavilion. It has an open air pavilion – adult “cabin”, three Adirondacks as well as a fire circle with benches.

Tent Sites

Hawkeye/Pathfinder/Mohican/Leatherstocking/Trapper

Each site has a campfire ring. Trapper has a large open-air shelter. Mohican and Hawkeye have large open-air shelters. They are unique campsites outfitted with “Tent Condos” (Typically used with the standard B.S.A. wall tents – although they can be used by smaller, free-standing framed tents).

The store and council office will be closed on Juneteenth and the 4th of July.
