Chester County Council is happy to present the

5th Annual Boy Scout
Sporting Clays Invitational

Friday, October 6, 2017
Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA

This annual event welcomes teams of four to test their skills on a course which combines the fun of shotgun shooting clay targets over water, through trees, in open fields, & between old quarry buildings. Returning this year is the “Crazy Quail Contest” which consists of speed, color & point value of the orange and green clay birds. Their unpredictable flight paths combined with the ability of the shooters to quickly reload in time to shoot the clay birds will make this a fun, fast, and challenging contest.

We invite you to be a part of this great event by participating as a sponsor. The benefits you receive depend on the level you choose. Most of all, your support will help the Boy Scouts continue to expand our program of character development for young people.

Sporting clays is a shotgun shooting game in which clay pigeons are presented to the gunner in ways that mirror the flight pattern of game birds, or occasionally rabbits, in their natural habitats. Sporting clays is exciting and challenging. Its popularity coming from England. The shooting grounds are laid out in stations (also called stands) with each station representing one type of bird or a combination of game: a rabbit and a grouse.
