Sign Up for Philmont in 2013 (yes, we said 2013!)

Philmont for 2012 has ten full crews and is full.  We expect to fill our ten crews to Philmont 2013 shortly after the opening of registration on Tuesday Jan 3. Each crew can accommodate up to twelve people. (Troops are limited to one crew each, but additional applications may be processed if space still exists Jan 31.)

To claim a spot, complete an application online, http://www.doubleknot.com/form/formjump.asp?bidx=0&surveyID=25864&OrgKey=713 , complete the required information, print out and sign the agreement form produced at the end of the application, and submit it with your deposit starting 7:30 am at the council service center on Tuesday, January 3.

Philmont Scout Ranch, the Boy Scouts of America's premier High Adventure base, challenges Scouts and Venturers with more than 214 square miles of rugged northern New Mexico wilderness. Backpacking trips provide ten days of outdoor learning and a lifetime of memories. The estimated cost of our Philmont treks for 2011 is $1950 per person which includes all airfare, ground transportation, crew equipment and food. Our high adventure team will help you with ways to assemble reasonably priced personal hiking gear and will provide all required training.
