Bring Scouts and non-Scouts together at 8:46am on 9/11 to show respect for those who died because of the events of September 11, 2001. We are promoting this BSA-sanctioned activity, but letting each district, troop, post, or crew make it as big and exciting as they want. This is a youth-driven event.
Celebrate Scouting's Past, Present, and Future! The CCCBSA 2010 Camporee will be held on October 15-17 at Hibernia County Park. Scouts of all ages welcome.
Chester County Council, BSA is once again using the Internet to build on our annual recruiting efforts! However, the recruiting campaign, called BeAScout has expanded. Everyone has a role to play that can help people sign up for Scouting.
WEBELOS Activity Badge Day ~ October 2, 2010 Webelos Scouts can earn their Forester Activity Badge while exploring Longwood Gardens this fall. Program runs 90 minutes and is a rain or shine event. Space is available for lunch. Click here for more program and registration information.
Scouting in Chester County Council could use your help this fall! Will you please agree to place a yard sign on your property for all or part of our fall recruiting season?
In the past two years we’ve increased our use of yard signs. Many families have indicated that the yard signs were what prompted them to contact us about joining the Scouts. Last year the coverage was great with over 160 additional families agreeing to display signs. We hope to make 2010 just as – or more – effective as last year.
