Say Yes to The Blitz

Scouting in Chester County Council could use your help this fall!  Will you please agree to place a yard sign on your property for all or part of our fall recruiting season? 

In the past two years we’ve increased our use of yard signs. Many families have indicated that the yard signs were what prompted them to contact us about joining the Scouts. Last year the coverage was great with over 160 additional families agreeing to display signs. We hope to make 2010 just as – or more – effective as last year.

We start joining night meetings the first week of September and go through October 15.  We’d appreciate if you could display the sign for one or more weeks during this critical period. In some communities local ordinance restricts lawn signs, but even there a few days during the right week might help us reach a family who didn’t know they might join. (Some folks have also suggested taping the sign to a house window for a week.)
